Halloween costume time?

I got a little over excited yesterday after I nailed my Econ exam. I came home and did this, as a sort of Halloween costume thing.

The interesting thing about a Green Lantern's ring is that the wearer can transform his costume however he pleases. That means I didn't have to copy an official costume exactly.

This is probably a mix between Hal Jordan and John Stewart's costumes, with my own twist on things.

In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power, Green Lantern's light

Happy Halloween!

EDIT: I bet no one can find the little (or rather, BIG) Easter Egg I put in here.

So...Kamor does have a superhero watching over it.

You saw it?
Wooooo

This is no way canon, and if it was, it would have to be a few thousand years in the future, when the native species have become advanced and civil enough to handle a Green Lantern.

Though I never understood why the Green Lantern would need a highly-sculpted Statue-of-David body when he has an OP ring that does everything.

Crap. You gave it away too soon. Should have read the comments first.

Very nice! That's one mean costume. And a lot of stars …

You've got me stumped on the Easter Egg, though. My guess is that the planet's a very specific planet, but it doesn't look like the couple I've thought of.

Hmm ...

You got the closest. The planet has the continent of Kamor drawn on it. It can be a bit hard to identify since the image of Kamor was only used once, at the beginning of the comic in the prologue.

Oh, so that's it! Thanks for letting on! I thought it might be something to do with that particular continent, but I didn't quite make the connection.

I'd say this power would pretty much give the Brofian army the victory in the bag, but the Koopas are naturally yellow ...

Ha, yeah that would be be pretty imbalanced. But consider this, a planet doesn't get a Green Lantern representative until the sentient race on the planet is sufficiently advanced.
Kamor is, as of right now, still not very advanced.

Not to mention that this guy would look pretty weird with his anthro-ness next to a bunch of regular Yoshies. o_o

Hmmm It's probably just my imagination, but I see a pattern in the stars. Or could it be that odd looking patch on the planet?
Anyway this is well done.
